ubersaurus
I readin the 7800 FAQ about modifying the lightgun to work with both the SMS and the 7800, however, all it has afterwards is broken links, beyond what you need. So can anyone give me directions on how to do this?
Adrian M
HMMMM....since the SMS lightgun uses the SAME connector as the Atari 2600, is it possible that I may already have a working gun to play Sentinel with? Does the SMS gun work on the 2600?

+Mitch
Check this link as well. Mitch http://atari7800.atari.org
jsoper
Thanks for that link Mitch, but sure wish I'd known about it a year ago. The FAQ talks about a 2600 trigger signal, but I thought it meant the trigger of the gun. Beat my head for about five hours before things started working. BTW, I'd recommend building this as an adapter box (use an empty combat cart and cut off an old genesis controller cable). That way the gun will still work on the SMS too. ubersaurus
That's exactly the sort of thing I was goin for, an adaptor box will be perfect.
