SS
"Got it thank u!" was referring to the information provided for the correct Marc to contact regarding purchasing a box, not a cartridge being received. Doh!
tep392
I just got my table setup. I'll be starting production today.

SS
and your soldering is gorgeous work. Yeah, I don't know how you guys solder so neatly. My own work always looks like it was soldered by a gorilla.

tep392
Can't speak for Perry, but my personal "secret" is pretty simple. #GettingOlderSucks I use readers and get real close but those look like they work better. A proper soldering station is a big help.

tep392
Update: I've build and tested all the boards. I'm removing labels from carts, a PITA, then will clean, assemble and ship. Should be just a few more days.

CPUWIZ
Yeah, I don't know how you guys solder so neatly. My own work always looks like it was soldered by a gorilla. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005C75IVM/ That is what I use for surface mount soldering, normal neon magnifying glass and reading glasses for DIP.
SS
removing labels from carts, a PITA This is so true. If I had to do large batch label removing, I might well be tempted to throw up my hands and quit in complete frustration right there. Whilst some third party glue has degraded over the years to the point of being nonexistent, some of the Atari labels act more like they were welded on rather than glued!
+save2600
Can always put some Goo-Gone or adhesive lift into a shallow cookie pan, place several cartridges face down, let them soak overnight and the labels usually partially disentegrate/peel right up the next day. Rinse under water or clean up with rubbing alcohol. Same with the end labels, but be sure to stand those puppies up so the go-go juice saturates them! Zonie
Ever consider offering just the board and the labels? I bought Defend your castle that way and I had no problem doing the "clean the old cart" work myself to save a few bucks.
