Dunno if you are game to sell the binary to DK PK? You can serialize it if you want. It's never going anywhere

but on my personal multicart. I'd like to have it and want you to get paid for it but I don't actually want a cartridge.

If interested, please shoot me a PM with details. Merry Xmas.

I suggested a "kit" Basically he provides just the board and the parts list, and we source, build, and burn the Rom ourselves, but he declined that too.

There was a game called "Defend your castle" in the past done this way. I think that came with the completed board, however.

I get it though. Wants to enusre they don't get manufactured easily by others just to capitalize on his work.

I was holding out for the XM but probably just should have bought the cart when the next run came around.

Not making more makes sense too. Time consuming for what you can actually earn per cart.

Defend Your Castle and Give Me My Pancake (both by Mr. Atari) included completed boards and cart labels. The buyer needed an empty cart shell. I used a couple of Combat shells for my copies.

Apoligies to anyone concerned, Just checked and my cart is the XM version :(

Like many I was hoping to receive my XM at some point 😭

I'm hoping that Atari releases an update for the 2600+ that uses the a7800 emulator, as has been requested in the 2600+ thread.  Then those XM carts might work with sound!

A7800 implementation is unlikely from what has been reported, but the good news is JS7800 runs it beautifully as well, and is relatively easy for them just to incorporate the fixes since it is a (highly) updated ProSystem Core:

Would absolutely love to see A7800 utilized for the 2600+, though JS7800 will make a big difference with compatibility as well.

Or maybe Atari should license it from Nintendo for the 2600+ and release an official cart. :)

Put me on the (pre-)order list :D

And they should contract a guy - two guys - a programmer and graphics designer @Defender_2600 for another cart - Donkey Kong Remix. ;)

Let's go full-blown (and fully paid), as well as platform unique - DK 2600+ containing (additional) new levels. similar to the Champ Games approach, BITD.
