Supergun Posted December 30, 2020 Share Posted December 30, 2020 Gold Rush had already suffered from several delays, even beforehand, back in 2019, but I think the Covid-19 pandemic pretty much “derailed” the Keystone train for a 2020 arrival. They want something that plugs into their modern TV and works. The Retron 77’s middling customer reviews scare people away from that, and there’s just nothing else. It does not play cartridges at all. It cannot do that by design, as it's a mini computer running an emulator, and emulators don't play cartridges. It might give the illusion of doing so with some games (it's hit and miss) but that trick won't work with Audacity carts anyway.
