Atari8bitCarts
I know this is an auction but I never knew that this song existed. https://www.ebay.com/itm/ATARI-ARTIFACT-CHUBBY-CHECKER-SINGS-DIG-DUG-ONE-OF-KIND-CASSETTE-83/153296245321?hash=item23b12b1249:g:HqQAAOSw5cNYLEY7 Sound:Cloud: https://soundcloud.com/theozman/dig-dug-sung-by-cubby-checker 3 Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/285816-chubby-checker-sings-dig-dug-song/ Share on other sites
Nezgar
Never heard that before! It's not bad actually. Definitely a derivative of the twist. Now that would go great on the audio track of a cassette version of Dig Dug. Although at 16KB, the load time would be longer than the song... +Cafeman
Wow. I was not expecting a good sounding tune, but there it is. He must have submitted it to Atari for the home ports, but they never used it. Gunstar
Never heard that before! It's not bad actually. Definitely a derivative of the twist. Now that would go great on the audio track of a cassette version of Dig Dug. Although at 16KB, the load time would be longer than the song... just start the song over and play until the game is loaded fully. It's an excuse to use the Atari cassette drive if you have one, and be nostalgic with a new "twist."
