+-^CrossBow^- Posted June 16, 2003 Share Posted June 16, 2003 Yes...you can use a genesis PS on the SMS...but I don't know for sure about the power output on the SMS PS being strong enough for a genesis. I know the voltage is fine for either or...but the amperage on the Genesis PS I believe is stronger. Therefore, while an SMS PS will probably work on the Genesis, if that PS isn't rated amperage wise high enough, you will cause more draw from the PS than it is designed for and most likely shorten its lifespan...
