Sunnyvale CA
How is it determined that this cart is real or fake? https://ebay.us/GYnkdf Shouldn't it come with some sort of box or labeling or sales manual from the event? Can you tell looking at that PCB alone? Thanks.
+stupus
It had a plain white box originally. With just a round sticker on it. I think the carts also had the sticker but they are always missing. Didn't come with other paperwork I know of. Pcb looks correct and chip shield labeling to me. Only a handful of the boxes still exist though so not weird to not have that with it. And not surprising since only 125 of the games were made anyway.
atari181
looks legit to me, seems a little pricey. I sold one a couple years ago for $1300. Edited January 4, 2019 by atari181
+stupus
Yes, pricing seems way off to me too. I would think under $1k for the blank loose cart. They obviously are in no hurry to sell or don't understand it's value at all.
