DragonGrafx-16
I keep forgetting games I had played last week. I also played about 15 mins of Super Breakout (Atari 2600) on Saturday.
oyamafamily
ATARI 2600 Asteroids (just for fun) - 400 minutes Infiltrate (for HSC) - 5 minutes Private Eye (for HSC) - 5 minutes EVIDENCES OF THE WEEK: 1) More scores noted on several Asteroids game variations. I spent hours playing this legendary game on my console just because I'm on 15-day vacation (started on February 4th, 2019). 2) My score on Asteroids, Game 32 A/A (also played on my console). And speaking on this legendary Atari game... this year, Asteroids celebrates its 40 years of release (released in 1979 for Arcade system).
agb
"]That's a good Eggomania score. I think I got 45,000 when I played it for the HSC. Thanks Atarian. I played it for the first time during last years HSC. Liked the game a lot. Bought it and have playing it a lot the last six months. Great game.

carlsson
Here's the summary for Week 06, running from February 4 - 10. We logged 4375 minutes of eligible play, playing 62 games on a total of 17 systems.Top 10:1. Tecmo Bowl (NES/Famicom) - 523 min.2. Asteroids (Atari 2600) - 400 min.3. Solar Fox (Atari 2600) - 255 min.4. NBA Jam Tournament Edition (Genesis) - 252 min.5. Kaboom! (Atari 2600) - 241 min.6. Dungeon Crawl (CoCo 1 & 2) - 230 min.7. Tomb Raider II (PlayStation) - 192 min.8. Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (SNES) - 186 min.9. Borzork (TI-99/4A) - 160 min.10. Raiden Trad (Genesis) - 145 min.Pre-NES top 10:1. Asteroids (Atari 2600) - 400 min.2. Solar Fox (Atari 2600) - 255 min.3. Kaboom! (Atari 2600) - 241 min.4. Dungeon Crawl (CoCo 1 & 2) - 230 min.5. Borzork (TI-99/4A) - 160 min.6. Ghost (MSX) - 120 min.7. Wizard's Doom (TI-99/4A) - 100 min.8. Jr. Pac-Man (Atari 7800) - 99 min.9. Baby Pac-Man [homebrew] (Atari 7800) - 92 min.10. Tunnels of Doom [Quest of the King] (TI-99/4A) - 90 min.Top 10 systems:1. Atari 2600 (1100)2. NES/Famicom (1032)3. Genesis (509)4. TI-99/4A (465)5. CoCo 1 & 2 (230)6. SNES (206)7. PlayStation (192)8. Atari 7800 (191)9. Game Boy (148)10. MSX (120)One week after the Super Bowl, our top game of the week is Tecmo Bowl on the NES. NBA Jam in 4th place adds to the sports theme, though none of the pre-NES games follows suit (unless of course one considers chess at the bottom of the list to be a sports game). The 2600 takes the systems title just ahead of the NES/Famicom.No new entries to the 1000 Minute Club, though two of the NES games are very close to joining it. So far we have 62 games in the range 900 - 999 minutes of which 10 were played this year. Speaking of being close, Solar Fox (Atari 2600) is now only 75 minutes away from being the third most logged game ever, sweeping past both Galaxian (Atari 2600) and Silent Hunter (PC DOS) earlier this year. At this rate, it will most likely climb to second place, though of course it still would be 200,000 minutes short of challenging Kaboom! for the first place.
BuckoBrand
After not gaming last weekend, my brother and son fired up Final Fantasy for our 6th session. If you're following along, we were able to get the rat tail and take it to the proper cave which upgraded all of our characters (i.e. the fighter became a knight, the mages became wizards, etc). We then went back to one of the towns and loaded up on heal and other potions (you can carry up to 99 of each type). Some of the monsters we're facing, like r. goyles, can completely wipe out our party in one fight. NES: Final Fantasy 70 minutes I like Final Fantasy 4.

Kurt_Woloch
Here are my times for this past week (February 11th through 17th)... Arcade: Ms. Pac-Man - 6 min. Atari 7800: Jr. Pac-Man - 38 min. I didn't play much this week, only two games in one session each... the usual ones I also had last week, Jr. Pac-Man on the Atari 7800 and Ms. Pac-Man in its original form. On Jr. Pac-Man I managed to reach my personal goal of 33.330 points. Edited February 17, 2019 by Kurt_Woloch

carlsson
TI-99/4A Dungeons of Asgard - 20min Super Mario Bros. - 15min Dungeons of Asgard was previously logged as a demo version. Do you think it is feasible to merge it with current version, in case the one you played is closer to final version? Also there is a "Super TI-99 Mario Bros" which I presume is the same as the game you played, whichever name the developer prefers to use.

carlsson
Great, thanks. Generally I wonder if demo and WIP versions need to be distinguished from finished versions, unless the developer(s) in the middle of development radically changes the game but keeps the title.
Opry99er
TI-99/4A: Alpiner (30 minutes) Borzork (45 minutes) Legends II (200 minutes) Lemonade Stand (20 minutes) Old Dark Cave (45 minutes) Parsec (20 minutes) The Search for Bigfoot (120) Wizard's Doom (120 minutes) I spent more time than I should have playing games this week. All TI this week... the rest of my systems are taking a back seat for a while, while I burn in some of my new TI hardware. So far in the past couple of weeks, I have put in a new console, an upgraded disk drive controller, swapped 32k cards, and installed two new 5.25" drives. So far so good. This week it's back to the real world. Edited February 18, 2019 by Opry99er
Skippy B. Coyote
Ugh, Mondays just haven't been my days lately; and today is my birthday of all days! Both the housemate and I woke up about 1:30 this morning with food poisoning, we must have gotten it when we went out to lunch together yesterday while running errands. So thus far my birthday this year has mostly been feeling queasy, trying to sleep, and running to the bathroom every hour or so. Skippy B. Coyote
I have a real copy of Task Force Harrier EX... it was my first vertically scrolling shmup on Genesis. I tried out a ton of different Genesis shoot 'em ups that I don't own yet using emulation this past week, and you might be pleased to know that Task Force Harrier EX was one of the two by that I decided I liked enough to buy real physical copies of. That and Vapor Trail were the two that I really enjoyed.
