captianpattson
Hello everyone! Would anyone recognize this type of cartridge? I just picked it up in a lot of games recently. I haven't seen it in my travels , it kinda looks homemade but I was wondering if it might be a diagnostic cart
awhite2600
Not a diagnostic cart. It's a pirate cart for running copies of games that are burned onto EPROM chips.
captianpattson
Awhite2600 thanks for the info! Piracy huh, I guess that's kinda cool. Is it of any particular value?
Rom Hunter
Awhite2600 thanks for the info! Piracy huh, I guess that's kinda cool. Is it of any particular value? No, not really. But it's one of the oldest examples of video game piracy items. In that way it deserves a place in video game history: http://www.atarimania.com/game-atari-2600-vcs-eprom-reader-cart_28458.html Edited February 13, 2019 by Rom Hunter
