The lack of self-centering can easily let your shooter cruise right into an enemy in the later waves when space is super-tight. Sadly, very few people have two Wico's, or two Redemption/Masterplays to get a fully digital experience going with real hardware. I want to blame the controllers (movement is sensitive for sure) and my homemade coupler, but I don't do any better on emulation. Really impressed with the scores by NP, Cafeman, and others. You just don't have the control and accurate movement necessary to really enjoy a good round of Robotron. It frustrates me to no end! I'll stick to the coin-op Eugene Jarvis original thank you. Cobra Kai Posted March 4, 2019 Share Posted March 4, 2019 Thanks players I'm typically good at Robotron. This version is more difficult than others because of its limitations. Unless this pops up on HSC again I don't plan on playing this version anymore. The 7800 version is very good, and you can secure two 7800 painline stick into the 5200 coupler with big rubber bands.
