466,100. Getting better but these CX52 sticks suck for this game even with a coupler!

Unfortunately, they do. The lack of self-centering can easily let your shooter cruise right into an enemy in the later waves when space is super-tight. Sadly, very few people have two Wico's, or two Redemption/Masterplays to get a fully digital experience going with real hardware. Nuclear Pacman's half-and-half setup is a good idea for a compromise if you have a single digital stick, however.

52325. I tried to improve, but just don't have it with this one. I want to blame the controllers (movement is sensitive for sure) and my homemade coupler, but I don't do any better on emulation. Really impressed with the scores by NP, Cafeman, and others.

In the end, I think I'm done playing this 5200 Port. You just don't have the control and accurate movement necessary to really enjoy a good round of Robotron. It frustrates me to no end! I'll stick to the coin-op Eugene Jarvis original thank you.

Original console & controllers, with coupler. First time ever playing this game (I've had the game/couple for a long time, but never had a chance to play) & don't have the knack for it. I have 2 Wico sticks, but didn't get a chance to try those. Sorry I can't get the pic to look right, it looks correct on my phone.

No worries, happens to me too from time to time.

Thanks players :) I'm typically good at Robotron. This version is more difficult than others because of its limitations. Unless this pops up on HSC again I don't plan on playing this version anymore. The 7800 version is very good, and you can secure two 7800 painline stick into the 5200 coupler with big rubber bands. The LYNX game is supreme as well.
