Albert
The Atari Program Exchange (APX) was a software distribution model in which Atari would encourage end users to create software for their 8-bit computers. Selected software was then sold through the APX catalog, resulting in royalties paid to the programmers. Could you have had what it took to be an Atari Program Exchange author? You may never know for sure, but you can now read the APX Program Author's Handbook to get programming and documentation writing advice straight from the mouth of Atari, circa 1982. You can find this guide at atariarchives.org along with a wealth of other Atari-related computing books and materials.
