+atari2600land
For the title screen of my new game, I want to make it look as though the player is moving through outer space, with stars zooming by, like that old Windows screensaver. How did I do? I wanted to name the game Xybort, but I decided that was too close to "Xybots", so I changed it. I always thought "Zybort" sounded like an alien name, so I decided to put it to some use by making a game starring an alien named Zybort. zybort1.zip Edited March 4, 2019 by atari2600land

carlsson
In the history of video games, there are so many similar games and in particular effects reused so don't worry about someone has implemented a star scroller before. For that matter it is something I never have quite understood how to go ahead with, having background stars scroll at different speeds but perhaps I would figure it out if I put some effort to it. +DZ-Jay
I dont think anyone has made a Blinking Dot simulator game. That's probably because it's easier to implement the Blinking Dot itself than to simulate it.
