I recently acquired one and a couple SD cards that work with it. I'd like to set up my own SD card as a hard drive replacement. I have the PP HD drivers and a 1040 STE, 4MB, TOS 1.62. Wally1 Posted May 11, 2019 Share Posted May 11, 2019 (edited) i had some unlucky experience with SD cards in general compared to USB flash drives being more reliable that said SanDisk is recommended being the one of the first flash memory makers if not the very first "In 1991 SanDisk produced the first flash based SSD in a 2.5-inch hard disk drive form factor for IBM with a 20 MB capacity priced at about $1000."
