In the mean time there are quite a few versions of the unijoysticle available.

I tested the unijoysticle2 C64 on my Atari7800 and it works, suporting A and B button!

I did play Commando with a dualsense and an 8bitdo arcade Stick. B button to throw grenades works! You should connect an external usb power supply, otherwise my connection sometimes dropped, as the 7800 might not provide enough power.

You can swap ports and play twinstick.

I hope the coming 2600+ supports 2 button joysticks in 7800 mode, overwise it would be joke in history ;)

I ordered one and hope to use my unijoysticle2 c64 on the 2600+ to play Robotron twinstick with a dualsense controller :)

I did this on the C64 and now it should happen on the plus.

By the way, a C64GS joystick should have worked on the 7800 all the time.

2nd button works as A and 3rd button as B, as they put 5V on the two paddle pins.
