FlashAir Question

How are 8gb cards more expensive?  Are you looking at multipacks?

This is the card I use.  No issues with it whatsoever from the portable:

https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-SDHC-Memory-RETAIL-PACKAGE/dp/B000UZL0YU/

Keep in mind that compatibility rate drops with higher capacity cards...those might work, but probably not.  8gb is more than you'll ever need for these Roms.  And I'd steer clear of used cards...no telling how many times those were already rewritten to.

Here is the 8gb variant of the same card I linked to above.

Toshiba wireless LAN-enabled SDHC memory card FlashAir 8GB Class10 SD-WE008G https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00UMTNB2S/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_8cNuDb199X3NX.

The 32gb is $31.34 while the 8gb one is $67.27.

Nu-huh, that 32gb card in OP is used.  In which case, it might be worthless.

True, but it says "like new" which might mean it's simply open package but unused. Either way it's a huge $30 difference for a 24gb loss not that it matters cause more than likely it will not work.

Buyer beware.

"So what if it was rewritten thousands of times, it looks brand new!"

Why do you need so much storage space for the little 2600?  You could probably fit 2600 variants of every Rom out there in 8gb

BTW TJ got that Toshiba 32gb Flashair working for Harmony...but it looks like a major pain in the butt to accomplish (and the problems do not end there):

Sadly there are no brand new cards available, especially 8gb FlashAir. ?

Can you link to the NEW Toshiba FlashAir 8gb cards on Amazon please?

The W-04 cannot be found that small, they all start at 16GB. I suppose the are not produced that small? The W-03 at 8GB are rare and utterly expensive.

If the AFP will only accept 8GB max, can't you take a larger cart and format it to 8GB? Then you could get 32GB starting at ~$35.

How do you format a 32gb cart to 8gb and can it be undone at a later time?
