+hloberg
just ordered a lot of TI-99 carts off eBay and one is Exceltec Extended BASIC? I've never heard of it. so far also found nothing on the web about it. It has what looks like a home made label on it. Any know something about this one.

Tursi
That was the first XB cart I had. I killed it trying to demonstrate the hot plug reset to a friend. 1 1
+Ksarul
The Exceltek Extended BASIC cartridge is identical to the TI Extended BASIC cartridge. They manufactured them under license from TI, much like the MicroPAL or the first version of the Mechatronic Extended BASIC cartridges. All Exceltek labels have that odd, home made look, even the ones on their two sideport cartridges (Arcturus and Killer Caterpillar). None of the Exceltek cartridges are common--and most of them are quite rare. The Extended BASIC cartridge is the most likely Exceltek cartridge you will find by far (you will usually find four or five of these before you even see one of their other cartridges--and that will then usually be one of the three Stargazer Cartridges), almost putting it into the same level of uncommon as the MicroPAL Extended BASIC cartridge. 1

Keith_Sink
I just got the manual for this cartridge in a bulk buy. No cartridge unfortunately.
+acadiel
Yep, it's TI Extended basic with a homemade Exceltec label on it. The manual is the TI Extended BASIC manual as well, but de-branded. Nothing too terribly special. It was also my first XB cartridge. I have the white manual (8.5 x 11 in) and the cart still.
