jaykut
Hey Guys, I know this is a Atari Forum but I am having trouble with my sega flashback with the firmware update? I emailed atgames and they told me the way the file is named can have something to do with it as it is very sensitive. I tried a 16gb sd card and a 2gb sd card both cards did not read on the sega when I turned it on. Also I renamed it to sega_update.img Any suggestions? Are you sure the SD card slot itself isn't to blame? It maybe a lemon. If it's not reading the card at all that's a problem, or is it just not reading the file? You have the superior android emulator Sega mini box there if that's the 2018 model as it has better audio sync and less lag issues than the model sega just shoved out recently. ATGames trolls while rightly mad dump on the 2018 model to for sport despite the evidence out there from reliable sources like DF Retro and others. Krathoon
Yeah. The second version of the Genesis Flashback with the SD card slot is great after you flash it to the latest firmware. It fixes the audio issues.
HowdyThere
Spoiler Hi The AtGames website no longer has the Sega Mega Drive firmware .img file … don’t suppose anyone has a copy, or knows where I can get one ? Not so fond of the GBATemp option … looks much more involving, probably won’t play nicely on my MAC or my Chromebook, and it trashes the already loaded games Thanks
