eightbit
Been dealing with audio buzzing for awhile now. I use a SCART to RGB2COMP setup to output my A500 to a modern display, and while the picture has always been really excellent the sound was always "buzzy". Especially when in silent things like Workbench. The buzzing was really annoying. I thought initially it was a capacitor issue but on a hunch and a whim I purchased one of these cables from an excellent Amibay seller here: http://www.amibay.com/showthread.php?81570-Amiga-Video-SCART-Cables-DELUXE-(real-23pin-conns) The one I purchased has the pictures attached to this post. Buzzing is completely gone. Picture looks better than before (and it did look great previously) with the cable I purchased on eBay. Just goes to show the importance of a proper cable. I put so much time into my A500 to make it perfect (in my eyes) and I should have had my head examined to have used a cheap-o SCART cable after all of that work!
