Haha! Right. You just want to start intimidating everybody else so that they never join the competition. YannAros
Karateka would be an awesome addition to the Intellivision’s game library!

I spent all day making music and sound effects, so I'm good in that department. How many frames does it take for that animation? I just finished animating the top of the wall. Used 4 frames. Check it out.

How many frames does it take to get him to walk a full cycle in his combat stance? Looks just like what Jordan Mechner animated using his brother for MOCAP....lol
+cmadruga
@Mik's Arcade I'm using 4 sprites 8 x 16. 10 frames are used for walking in combat stance. There is also a variation ("half step") that I did not show, which uses 5 frames.

It gives you a simple stick figure and allows you to create simple frames and easily manipulate the arms, legs and head so you can try to create a full animation cycle. I'm hoping this will help me create some smooth animations. I also have the running man code as a guide, too. Graphics is by far my weak point

Steve Jones
What game is this based on? Googling acheron game gives several different results but I’m still not clear.

carlsson
Heh. I was thinking Predator, so I was not that far away. Who is first to port Aliens vs Predators to the Intellivision?
