Emulation is fine, as are custom controls. Pics preferred, but not required except for HSC wins and records. The current record was set by bohoki with 275,430 points. If so, I improved slightly over my 157,932 submission from last week. Since you don't really die in this game, you could keep playing forever with your score going lower and lower.
