Spot the type-in

Hi all,

These games are from an Italian company (Lindasoft) who had a history of re-releasing magazine type-ins without permission. So, there's a really good chance that the following 3 screenshots are type-in programs from a magazine or book. Does anyone recognize them?

I was most familiar with the Compute! ones, had the occasional C & VG as well as a subset of Page 6 and Atari User from UK.

1, 2 don't ring a bell but 3 - I have a feeling that Compute! had a reasonably advanced multi-platform Chess game at some point in the magazine, likely well into the C64 era.

Can of worms now opened... I just have to chase up the magazine, got most on CD here somewhere.

I fairly well remember this game or something similar having an assembly routine where they documented that it just pushed a whole bunch of return addresses onto the stack which optimised it's lookahead algorithms.

Farb, what sort of game is 1, I can check my database but a genre helps make it a smaller search..

Number one is called Space Caves...Not seen who its by yet..

Compute March 85

Not in my database, took a chance and did a size and bas file search for around 10K in Opus..
