New for me to also get wrong this season the rounds "played" column!

If I missed you out (usually Sikor's scores) or got your scores wrong (look like it will be RedThunder who this will happen to) misspelled your name (I already had the "n" missing from Manterola but my money's on Magamavision2000) or mixed up slx with skr then let me know

Updated with the points from R13 Quasi/Orc Attack and R14 Cpt. Beeb/Jet Boy. Some interesting movement in the table! Deteacher you missed out playing Jet Boy and McKong missed the last round so we'll have one final catch-up for the season on R20

Apparently this season it is not enough to simply participate in every round to end up in top 5. One would need to generate some good scores every now and then as well!

OK points added in for Rounds 19 and 20 (shown above) including season catch-up which has boosted McKong right up to duke it out with graywest for runner up spot Please check your scores as I've been a bit behind with things here, hopefully this is correct now!

It's all over for Season 17, I  - therealbountybob - took the title but only as McKong (runner up), greywest (on the podium) and deteacher (4th)  missed a few rounds Some good games again with some new ones mixed in to keep it interesting. Nice to hear from a few of the programmers again too. Thanks again all for playing especially the regulars, and the irregilar regulars too, even if it was the odd time, all help keep the Atari scene ticking over

I really planned on playing more this season but the world got in the way.

I'll be honest I have been suffering a great deal from depression and anxiety this year, especially in the second half of the year when any stability in my life was stomped on.

Hopefully I will find time to play at least a few rounds in the next season although I start a new job tomorrow and don't think I'll be getting much free time .

Thanks as ever trbb for organising and running the HSC

Phew! I just barely made top 5 despite not winning a single round. Good thing other people have more important things in their lives so even playing every game once is enough to get that far in the table.

I fell off the HSCs (both this one and the VCS) due to needing to work a lot of extra hours.  The wife lost her job and I needed to keep things afloat while she was fighting with unemployment.  Things are a little more stable for now, so I look forward to playing in the next season.

Also it should be noted that the total number of participants increased again, from 37 in S15 [2018], down to 33 in S16 [2019] and now 49 in S17 [2020].

Mimo when I was unwell  I found Atari was one of the few things that totally occupied my mind, and finding this place was a real saviour (forgive my use of the word)! Also keep busy, walking and gardening both vgood.

McKong, what can I say seems I had more time at the start of the season and you at the end... hopefully it will be right through next season.

 

Carlsson yes steady wins the race... we'll 5th is a solid ranking with a duff 130XE - price up a new one and post back?

 

ALL Try and put some comments on the New Season Thread on the main forum , spread them out over the next 2-4 weeks to keep the topic up onb the first page - I'll probably not email everyone this year. Thanks.
