Season 17 Round 3 - 10-Yard Fight

After getting a heck of a lot better at this (and enjoying it considerably more, probably b/c of that), I am unable to break my high, or finish the super bowl. Still, I'm pretty happy with my score, since I didn't think I would get much at all. Tempest, you set the bar pretty high right out the gate. Asponge, nice comeback. Good game everyone.

The secret is to run to one side on the kick off and try and trap all the opponents people with your defenders.  Eventually you can get them all behind your guys so you can have a clear run to the end zone and score 10,000 points.  It's not fool proof, but I ended up getting pretty good at it.   The other trick is to run at diagonals as the computer has a lot of trouble tacking you that way.

I was able to make it almost all the way to the end zone after the kick off, which was pretty cool. The diagonals were my key to scoring how I did. And never passing up field. Never!

Killer score Tempest.  fakecortex, that was a fun little back and forth for 2nd place.  I actually wasn't going to play anymore until you beat my score.  Thanks for the motivation.  I didn't discover the diagonal runs until my last two attempts.  That's what pushed me over the top.
