Serguei2
I read CV programming manual and I noted this: Does it mean some colecovision games support Adam keyboard and other things?
Serguei2
Ok. I guess programmers won't bother to put adam computer stuff in Colecovision games.
Bruce Tomlin
It would be possible, but there's no point. I long ago disassembled most of the games (to make a comprehensive list of ROM entry points that were used, to make an optimized BIOS), and saw nothing that knew about any sort of hardware other than the standard CV. MrPix
And it's just as easy to make a cart that decodes RAM into the unmapped space in the CV too.

None of the cartridges that were and continue to be released for use on the ColecoVision make use of any of the additional hardware that is available with the ADAM Computer with the exception of the Opcode Super Game Module required games. IIRC, if you play an SGM game on the ADAM with the Opcode SGM connected, the game code tests if it is running on an ADAM and if so disables the extra RAM provided by the Opcode SGM and therefore uses the extra RAM of the ADAM Computer. There are a number of ADAM specific utility cartridges that Coleco developed for In-House and Service Center (Honeywell) use such as "ADAM Diagnostic" that access/use all the additional hardware of the ADAM (printer, keyboard, data drive, etc.), but these are the only such examples. So, to put it simply, no cartridge based game has ever been developed that accesses all the additional abilities/hardware of the ADAM Computer. It would be cool to see such a game developed, but then it would be easier and cheaper to release it on data pack or disk and to take that a step further, would be better served to develop and release for use with the Opcode SGM so as not to limit one's market.
