+Andrew Davie
I'm having a bit of trouble understanding exactly how to get my AtariVox working with MacOS I've read a few conflicting/confusing posts and some posts with "solutions" that just lead to dead links. Basically I want to connect my AtariVox to my MacOS via USB so I can develop without having to go to a cart/2600 every time. I have a USB/serial converter, but when plugged into the AtariVox, no life from the AtariVOX From what I've read, USB/serial is not suitable for *powering* an external device. I need a TTL converter...? Here it gets hazy for me. I'm looking to buy an off-the-shelf converter that just lets me plug into my USB port, and communicates correctly via serial - into which I can plug the AtariVox (and it gets powered). Can anyone please point me in the right direction? Ta
