Work in progress ports, de/remakes, adaptations

Thought about creating this topic mainly for developers to tip each other relative to work in progress. More as a way to avoid duplicated work done on the same “space”. Hence the topic being inside the Programming forum.

 

Of course original works are not an issue, but in the case of ports, adaptations, remakes or demakes I can see the risk. Meaning: “derivative” stuff.
 

Some of this communication probably happens behind the scenes, but particularly for newcomers I believe it would be beneficial to make it happen more visibly.

 

Disclosure would be voluntary, of course. Folks can choose to be as specific as they wish relative to details, status, timeframes, etc.

Anyway, this may or may not work, but I thought about giving it a shot anyway. Thanks.
