So, Apparently A Company is Trying To Prevent Switches From Being Imported To The US

Gamevice is trying to file a lawsuit (for the second time) against Nintendo to not only appeal the first lawsuit they lost but also prevent the sales of Switches in the US. Apparently, Nintendo ripped off a tablet Gamevice made called the Wikipad, although the only thing similar is they both look similar (?), it seems like the company tried the same thing in August of 2017 and failed miserably.

I don't know why a company would try twice to take down an enterprise like Nintendo, it's like if a small animation studio tried to sue Disney. Even if you're in the right, you're gonna lose, they'll have more resources than your company will ever have.

Actually right now would be the best time to sue Disney as they are just bleeding money right now thanks to the parks being closed. They are are in huge debt right now. It would be funny to see them lose due to the fact they couldn't afford to show up in court.

As for this, Nintendo's lawyers will destroy this if it goes to court and Switches will still be sold.

I think Disney would show up to court for something of this magnitude, this would be the Disney equivalent of someone claiming their great-great-grandfather created a character exactly like Mickey Mouse named Mr. Rat and he's demanding they cease use of Mickey Mouse. Although just like this case, the proof would be very lacking and most of it would be coincidences.

I remember these clowns and the courts made them look like fools the first time.  I'm curious why they're even allowed to sue for the device yet a second time unless they have some so called new angle to work it this time.  Even so, they are so small and patent trolling at that, they have no chance.  The only loss here will be the money Nintendo blows having to pay lawyers to show up for court.  The Switch isn't going anywhere as they've copied nothing, might as well just sue anyone using a phone or tablet that has some controller bits attached to it or optionally so.  Not happening.
