Somehow my cartridge dont alway work even if I see Fuji logo and didn't touch the cart.

My ship seemed to randomly jump to a different spot on the screen several time and I'm not sure what's up with that?

It's the 'Hyperspace' function.  Pulling down on the joystick (or the down arrow on the keyboard) 'Hyperspaces' your ship to a different part of the screen.  There was supposed to be a sound effect as well, but I forgot

Oooooooh, that explains that and I must be hitting down on accident quite a bit.

Good info, that happened to me too. I thought it was a emulator glitch.

This is what I love about the HSC - I had never played Meteor Shower before, and it's incentive to try something new.  It's awesome!  I definitely want to pick up the cart one of these days.

 

63,135 after a couple games, I know I can do better but I want to get something up before the deadline expires.

 

Thanks to the 7800 online Javascript emulator, I should be able to have better participation this round.  I don't have MAME or any other 7800 emu set up on any machine I can realistically play so it's been hard to do any rounds where I didn't have the physical cart.  Looking forward to more this season.
