COLECOVISION FIREMAN VS FIREWORKS FACTORY

Recently saw "Fireman" being advertised on Collectorvisions website as an upcoming game. Couldn't find much info on it anywhere but it looks very similar to the previously released Fireworks Factory. Is this the same game or just similar games? Thanks

Fireman is an early beta version of Fireworks Factory.    Fireworks Factory is the complete game.   In addition it has been published with the agreement and in collaboration of Original Creators from NICE IDEA.

 

if you can get only one  get  Fireworks Factory.

Thanks for getting back to me, I already have a copy of fireworks factory and love it. Dont see any reason to get fireman as its an early version of a superior game. I had a gunch they were related

According to Nice Ideas documents, wich include instructions*, it was going to be release as Fireman
Then when Coleco stop supporting the ColecoVision, Nice Ideas decided to port Fireman over MSX and add an enemy to the game: a pyroman

Nice Ideas then renamed the game to Pyroman 
For some reason, Nice Ideas decided to tweak back their ColecoVision Fireman game and add thee pyroman to the game. 
Since the game take of in a fireworks factory, Nice Ideas renamed Fireman to Fireworks Factory

Fireman is not an unfinished game, this was the game Coleco was supposed to released
After Coleco stopped supporting the ColecoVision, Nice Ideas decided to release the game on their own under the name Fireworks Factory

Fun fact: The Intellivision version was also going to be released under the name: Fireman

The MSX version was released under the name: Pyroman

*The instruction manual doesn't mention the pyroman at all

Fireworks Factory was the way to release a game from France. Kudos to Nice Ideas! So much less drama than the Risky Rick FUBAR.
