enuffsaid
Hello, I am looking for an Apple II graphics application that will allow me to copy part of a Hi-Res picture to another H-Res picture and then save. Thank you for your assistance.
The Usotsuki
MousePaint? (ETA: not 100% sure if that lets you carry the clipboard across files) Edited May 22, 2020 by The Usotsuki
enuffsaid
Thank you for the suggestion The Usotsuki. Sounds very promissing. I did give this a try, but for some reason when I try to load my images (eg. TITLE.PIC) it keeps saying "No such file". Need to dive in a bit more. enuffsaid
Hi The Usotsuki. Happy to report MousePaint worked like a charm. Copy/paste from one image to another worked perfect. Thank you for your suggestion.
Keatah
I was able to cut and paste from one pic to the other like so: Seems the clipboard survives loading across to another image. The MousePaint disk I was using has ProDOS 1.1.1 on it. Try using "Get Picture" and "Put Copy In" as your load and save functions under the FILE dropdown in MousePaint. I made me a blank ProDOS (.po) disk image with CiderPress and used the default setting of "NEW.DISK" for the name. In AppleWin I put MousePaint in D1 and NEW.DISK in D2 In MousePaint I was able to click on "Get Picture.." Then typed /NEW.DISK/A3 to load the picture titled A3. The same to save it, except you use "Put Copy In..." from the FILE dropdown. If you need help with Ciderpress just ask. It's not hard. If you're still stuck I'll answer more later tonite. enuffsaid
Hi Ketah. I am familiar with Ciderpress. Making a .po disk isn't a bad idea, actually. Thank you for your suggestion.
