I'd been wondering why the 75Ω output resistors I've been using were labeled "85X".  How "helpful" of them. ?

Find a short length of wire, strip both ends.  Place one end on one side of R1.  Place the other end on the other side of R1.

 

Alternatively, you could use your meter probes by sticking them on both sides of R1 and then angling both probes so that they contact each other.  Alternatively, set the meter in amps mode, make sure the probes are plugged into the appropriate outlets for reading amps (some meters use an alternate outlet), and then put a probe on each side of R1.

I tried, but it didn’t work. :(

I think the trimmer pot for the sync that has 103 code, so that should be 10k ohms.
