SainT
The LynxGD has a built in game trainer / cheat system. When you load any game, the ROM is checked against a database of cheats. If there are any cheats / trainer options available for the game, they will be displayed in a menu allowing you to turn them on or off before playing the game. If you would like to see any specific cheats / trainer options for games which currently do not have them, please feel free to post a request in this thread and I'll see what I can do. The current list of cheats / trainer options as of Firmware 1.03. Batman Returns, Infinite Energy Switchblade 2, Infinite Lives, Infinite Energy Super Skweek, Infinite Time Ninja Gaiden 3, Infinite Time, Infinite Energy, One Hit Boss Kill Ninja Gaiden, Infinite Time, Infinite Energy Bubble Trouble, Infinite Energy Desert Strike, Infinite Energy Gauntlet, Infinite Energy Klax, Infinite Misses Pac Land, Infinite Time, Infinite Lives Hard Drivin', Infinite Time Raiden, Infinite Lives, Infinite Bombs Paper Boy, Infinite Lives Steel Talons, Infinite Energy Turbo Sub, Infinite Lives, Infinite Mines Rampage, Infinite Energy Shadow of the Beast, Infinite Energy Edited June 18, 2020 by SainT

+davidcalgary29
Please consider the code for the hidden game of Galaxian in Lexis and the one for the hidden game in Lynx Reloaded. It'd be great to also see the Battlezone 2000 mode be given a menu option.

Pugsy
I've been recently looking at making new Lynx cheats for my cheat collection I think with Ninja Gaiden, Infinite Energy might not be enough as you there are other ways of dieing. So you will need to stop RAM address 4F14 decrementing for Infinite Lives ideally. Not sure if you can use these for Ninja Gaiden, they are program code changes (not sure of the actual cart address - these are the program counter addresses): c973 ea & c974 04 Invincibility ea77 80 Hit Anywhere Edited June 22, 2020 by Pugsy

mistermorcus
Infinite lives in Toki would be awesome. Also, if there is a way to do infinite time and infinite energy in Kung Food that game may become beatable. I can never get through all the enemies without running out of time in that game. I found these cheats from gamehacking.org if that helps: Toki: https://gamehacking.org/game/69399 Kung Food: https://gamehacking.org/game/69363 Edited November 30, 2020 by mistermorcus Added Cheat Links

mikewilkinson
I would love to have 1 of two things: (i'd even pay money for this) 1. The ability to enter your own codes manually. -or- 2. Have these cheats added for Lemmings that I found. Codes created using: mednafen-1.29.0-win64 Memory adress: Affect: $000000ca Infinite bashers $000000cb Infinite Minners $000000cc Infinite Diggers $000000c5 Infinite Climbers $000000c6 Infinite Floaters $000000c7 Infinite Bombers $000000c8 Infinite Blockers $000000c9 Infinite Builders value of 0a for each adress

I hope you'll enjoy your patched rom. I don't think it's so funny using infinite tools, but it was funny for me applying this simple patch and finding a way to pass the code hash check in the stage 1 loader. SainT
That’s basically all of the ‘easy’ ones which I could find. If anyone else wants to contribute any ROM hacks, I can add them, but I don’t have a lot of time to be working on finding cheats unfortunately. And any hacks need to be *ROM* hacks, not memory. The ones listed above are memory hacks which are not possible on the Lynx.

The ones listed above are memory hacks which are not possible on the Lynx. How did you work on cheats? Ram hacks on emulators are pretty easy. But rom hacks are another level.. Long ago I made trainers for Xbox. That involved memory dumps and then x86 assembly tools and knowledge to noop or make other changes to the code... Being rom hacks the ROMs could be patched before being flashed. More or less a trainer version of the game.. I'm not sure how Tototek did their flashcards but you could add RAM cheats right before flashing the game within the uploader tool. I recently created some codes for Aleste 3 on game gear using an emulator to find them. Ram cheats are the most useful to me. as they are a lot easier to create. May need to calculate the offset once but after that it's like clock work. Is this still the full list or have there been updates?
