TheColorRed
Hi everyone! I got a TRS-80 Color Computer 2 about a month ago, and I need software for it. It came with nothing other than the unit, so I ordered a tape interface cable and a floppy controller kit. I couldn't find any cheap software for tape/disk, and so I'm asking here to see if I can get a deal. If you have any cartridges, tapes or disks for the CoCo 1 or 2 (64k), contact me and we can negotiate a price. (youtube keeps wanting to take me to the latest episode instead of an index page) CoCo Crew Podcast http://cococrew.org/ There are many youtube channels with CoCo content if you search. Michael Kline
You'll find that https://colorcomputerarchive.com is your source for software and documentation. You'll definitely want to contact Ed Snider at the Zippster Zone and get yourself a CoCo SDC controller. It replaces the disk drives and floppy controller. https://thezippsterzone.com/2020/06/25/the-coco-sdc/ Getting a Serial to USB cable along with DB9 to CoCo Serial cable will allow your PC to act as a additional drive(s) for your CoCo using Drivewire 4 software. The CoCo SDC is DriveWire compatible without extra software on the CoCo side. https://sites.google.com/site/drivewire4/ http://www.cocopedia.com/wiki/index.php/Getting_Started_with_DriveWire Michael Edited July 7, 2020 by Michael Kline

I actually purchased a https://www.ebay.com/itm/164279547869?ViewItem=&item=164279547869, so I can actually read real disks, but those links will be interesting. Michael Kline
Excellent! Have fun assembling your new controller. You'll find that there is a lot of support for the CoCo online. Especially on Discord and Facebook. Cheers! Michael
