English Invader
One of things I'm thinking of doing is adding a Gotek floppy drive emulator to complement an IDE/CF hard drive. The idea is that, in addition to running ADFs for games that either aren't available or won't run in WHD, it would also be a convenient way to transfer WHD files over to WB. Is the Gotek able to function in that role or is it something that operates completely independently from WB?
larrylaffer
The same way you can have a floppy drive and a hard disk, exactly the same way things work with a gotek and a cf. In my a4000 I have a CF, a 3.5inch floppy (df0:) and a gotek (df1:). They all work happily together.
Daedalus2097
To put the files onto the Gotek, you need to use some sort of ADF utility on the PC, or else use an emulator to put the files on an ADF, whcih then goes on the USB drive for the Gotek. Putting the files directly on the USB drive won't work - it only deals in ADFs. And that means everything needs to fit in 880KB (or 1.76MB if you have suitable firmware on the Gotek).
