eStarland Repairs?

I dug out several of my Lynx's. Some will not power up.  I believe they used to.  Anyway, I have a Lynx Model I that will not now power up.  I was wondering if there are any repair services as I have tried in the past to recap a Lynx I, horrible experience.  I found eStarland online.  However, their are some real nasty reviews of the place online, mostly concerning game trade-in, etc.  Nothing specific concerning their repair services.  Has anyone had any experience(s) with them repairing Lynx?  Other recommendations?

Where are you located? There are multiple people offering repairs on various forums, though the places I know of that are operating as a business entity (such as retrofix in Australia) can be very expensive.

Why was your capacitor experience bad? The alternative is you attempt repair yourself using information found on the internet, though this does require the correct tools.

If you're in Australia, I'm happy to assist. From my experience, the Lynx I seems to be less problematic and more robust with longevity and repair; I've had many experiences with the Lynx II where I've been unable to fully repair the units. I'm still working through them as I refuse to accept they might be unrepairable!

I live in the USA.   I have recapped a Lynx II in the past and that went well.  This time on my Lynx I some of the caps are very hard to get to (some under the RF shield (Why?) and one under the cart connector (again, why?).  I have a great (I thought) soldering Station, the Weller.  I have used it a bunch.  This time it just would not properly flow the solder.  Maybe I need a new tip.  I used flux, but still managed to scorch the PCB a bit.  The unit will still not power up.  I checked voltage across the MOSFET, have 9V on the drain side.  Maybe the unit is fried.  I have a MOSFET and zenior Diode ready to change out.  One of the problems I was having was clearing the lead holes of solder, my solder sucker was inadequate.  I have ordered a new one.  We shall see.
