I use DT80 w/ FujiNet CP/M that runs WordStar REALLY NICE!, but, sadly doesn't like NZ-COM.

I was just reading about this and thinking how a system like this was basically an opportunity lost for Atari.  Imagine using graphics 8 for a built-in 80 column display.  To solve the problem of all the memory used, a specially banked region could have been used for the 80 column display so programs would still have the entire 48k+ of RAM.

ACE80-XE could have done that on the 130XE, but we never developed it.

It would have helped A LOT, but it's not the solution. The char. width is 3 pixels w/ 1 pixel space between. Austin-Franklin was nice. Bit3 was good. VBXE is the way to go.

I use RunCPM from Fujinet on the XEP80. Nice font.

I'm gonna hold out until the Slot 3 VBXE is perfected, I think.
