bh0101
Hello everyone, I finally managed to pick up an Androbot Topo II robot last year, but I am lacking in the hardware/software areas to try and get this thing to work using an Apple IIe. If you are reading this post and happen to have a spare Toposoft diskette and Topo II IR transmitter with the adapter or happen to know someone who might, I would like to get in contact and discuss with you. The transmitter looks like the hexagon shaped device in the lower right of the picture attached, and the diskette loops like your standard floppy disk that would go into an Apple IIe computer. Thank you for your reading, and I hope to hear back!

The 64th Gamer
Someone recently dumped the Topo II disk on Archive.org, alongside that I discovered an original ROM dump of the Base Communicator for Topo II and have that uploaded there too, so if you know your stuff you could make a recreation of the BC hardware if you're not able to find the device. Currently trying to compile as much Androbot documents, software, and other information on a wiki website for owners and fans, though its still in early stages.
stupus
That's really Cool! Sounds like you know alot of info about topos. Are you possibly able to verify what voltage the 2 drive motors need exactly? Amps would be great too, but i really want to know the exact volts they are looking for. Thanjs! The 64th Gamer
I don't have access to a Topo yet so I can only confirm from other sources, but it seems to be 18V/54W, atleast for Topo II.
