Michael Kline
TRS-80 Pocket Computer 1: Is there an archive out there, or does someone have copies of the old PC-1 software? I'm looking for text files and/or sound files, of the programmes that Radio Shack sold, back in the day. FYI:The PC-1 wasn't compatible with the PC-2. Thanks.
JohnnyRockets
Hi Michael, I had the PC-1 growing up and thought it was pretty cool! Never did too much with it, but it still has a special place in my "retro" heart. Does this site provide any insight? https://www.floodgap.com/retrobits/tpm/138.html JR

George Phillips
I recall finding a collection of PC-1 tape images, but that was some time ago (like maybe 20 years ago). Cannot seem to find the website now. I recall it having single-line "screenshots" of the programs. Maybe it is somewhere in the Internet Archive. Keatah
I have a complete set of TRS-80 PC-1 tapes and manuals. Someday when after I've made some progress on Apple documentation I'll get around to making some recordings.

I lost all of my software years ago. It's been a huge challenge finding these old programmes. So thank you for taking the time (sometime in the future) to archiving the software. And, I didn't find anything, anywhere. Except of course, the scalpers on eBay. Luckily, there's an archive for the PC-2/PC-1500. I was able to find those programmes.
KG7PFS
Is the PC-3 compatible with the PC-1?

As I recall, software was marketed for both computers. The PC-2 wasn't totally compatible. I can remember modifying PC-1 code to work on the PC-2. PC-2 software was not compatible with the PC-1/PC-3.
