sebastius
200 bucks per machine that are broken (for parts means: it's considered scrap but i still want to make money for it), and a monitor for a ms pacman can be costly is rather steep. EricDeLee
Where are these 'scrap' machines located? If nearby, this could work out rather well for me. Thanks... (BTW... I live in Tulsa, Oklahoma) Eric DeLee
Cassidy Nolen
I am paying anywhere from 400-500 for either one of those machines, dead or alive, to give you an idea. If you have a shot at it, get them both. The boards alone are worth 500 to you. Get them. Monitors are easy fixes, most of the time. Brand new monitors are only 175 each, worst case. Overlays are only like 30. Prices are way down from what they used to be. Chances are, Galaga needs a switching power supply (don't they all?). That is the case in almost every one I have ever owned. Cassidy The majority of Arcade games of that time used Linear power supplies. JAMMA games started using Switching Power supplies. I would recommend upgrading any Linear power supply to a switching power supply if the Linear one is dead.
