Hello,

I have been unable to load any cassette programs onto my Ti 99/4A. This is the first time I have attempted to do this in many years. I was able to save a test program onto a cassette, but each time I attempt to load it I receive a "No Data" or "Error in Data" message come up. I am able to hear the sound from the monitor so I know it is getting into the TI.  I have tried different cassette players and used different volume settings. Any suggestions are appreciated. I would like to know as well if anyone has seen this happen. Thanks!

Have you read the pinned topic, “ New to the group? TI-99/4A FAQ, Hardware and software resources READ FIRST! ”. In the FAQ is “Can I use any cassette drive/audio source?”, which should be of use to you.

Thanks. I somewhat read it before, read related information on another site as well. I will keep trying. I guess the ideal is a traditional mono portable tape player with a microphone jack. That is what I used back in the day with little issue.
