Does anyone have the two ROM images (firmware and character set) from the original XEP80? I'm waiting to get an adapter so that I can read them with my EPROM programmer, but just thought if someone had already captured them that would save me a bit of time.

I guess this idea died on the vine, because its been 1-1/2 years since the last post was made. Obviously within that time frame the XEP80-II was created and released, but it would still be cool to see this happen on something like a Pi. Probably be a lot cheaper to produce, and might offer a gateway into multi-color text (with a new driver of course).
