Shift838
Some years ago I traded some emails with the late great Tony Knerr to work on getting my Geneve wired up to a 910MP. He provided some insight on hacking a cable with some trim pots to be able to fine tune all signals. I put it all in a enclosure with a pcb proto board. It all worked very well. I decided I wanted to actually get a PCB produced with a few added features like my original SCART Genie has. So I came up with this board (see attached photo). Just got 10 of these boards in for initial testing and they work great. As you can see, there are separate trimmers for CSYNC, RED, GREEN, BLUE and Audio signals. The separate trimmers allows for fine tuning of these signals. I have also added a 1.8v voltage regulator that takes the 12v from the Geneve and drops it down to 1.8v, which is required to put a RGB monitor like the Samsung 910MP into RGB mode (required 1-3v on SCART Pin #16). Also the same dip switch settings to provide external or internal power to supply the required 1-3v to throw the RGB monitor into RGB mode. And of course the standard Audio out jack to hook up some PC speakers. Uses standard SCART Cable and a standard 8pin DIN male to male cable. it is on the same footprint PCB as my SCART Genie so it fits in the existing 3D enclosure perfectly. I chose to get this one done on a flat black PCB and it looks great. GDMike
I'm ready to look for a solution on providing video out for my newly found geneve, with 32K upgrade for MDOS,.. I want to use my existing 1020dpi TV that I'm currently using for my 99/4A. It has 3 HDMI in, RGB in, VGA,DVI, and sound in via an RCA jack. Any and or best options? I haven't tried to plug up the Geneve yet as I'm waiting to for this..oh, and payday. Shift838
I have a Gbsvga Genie v2.0 that interfaces with a GBS8200 and allows a Geneve to output to a VGA. https://shift838.fwscart.com/GBSVGA_Genie_v20/p5569983_19059485.aspx I have them that I can build. Does not come with the GBS8200, but I can include one for additional cost with all the mods. I have photos on the store of the output. 1 Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/313877-scart-genie-9640-passive-v1/#findComment-4683794 Share on other sites

Shift838
Release things to the masses and something else is always found. I had a type for the Corcomp Standard disk controller it was 'ccddc' but should have been 'ccdcc'. I have fixed it for all platforms and version 4.0.1 is up on the sourceforge site.
