Just Jeff
Good evening.. I just installed GIMP so I can design a box, cart label, etc, for an Atari 2600 game. Does anyone have any existing files they can send me that I can use as a template? Or point me to a place where I can get them for Atari? Justin Payne
So, you want to make something different than something like this tool? https://www.labelmaker2600.com/
+5-11under
Gimp will be efficient enough for most labels and small items, but for boxes, you might consider some desktop publishing software, or perhaps even a word processor, to put all you elements together. Possibly a drawing program to create elements, too, if that's your thing.

Where that site asks for an image, I need to design that image.

I mean, I did this one in Photoshop and it was pretty easy. Oh, wait. You also wanted to do a box. I found this video as well. It might help you in this process. Just Jeff
OK.. Scribus improved things for me. I figured out some things, not others. I have not figured out line spacing though I tried. I also need to look into kerning too. Also eyeballed more than I should have.. The inserted image is just a placeholder image that I made with GIMP.
