rcamp48 Posted December 19, 2020 Share Posted December 19, 2020 I have excellenyt news about the Atari POrtfolio IDE kit, I have found a 600 MB IDE drive that the IDE kit will recognise, its still not working 100 percent , but at least the drive responds everytime the Portfolio is reset, and it only spins upwwhen connected at power off, ie: as soon as I turn the Atari Portfolio to being on the drive reacts. I am in contact with Klaus to see how to prepare the hard drive, I purchased a USB to IDE adapter and can now prepare the drives all properly. On another note I havbe in my hot little hands 5 copy protected Slave Plus Version 2.5 cards for the Atari Portfolio, made iin Australia by Compax. , but no master disks...there are 4 of them , one for the PC, one for the Amiga, on for the Atari ST, and one for the Mac, I have the manual wit the disks, they are all the same.
