Seems like we need a sub forum here for Atari VCS programming just like for the other consoles on this forums.

The atari os isn't exactly an open system since you can't sideload application programs and have to go through the atari store.

It took a while, letting the VCS mature a bit, but it's here now.
Also, Atari will soon release better support for running/installing "homebrew" games, to AtariOS; games they cannot publish themselves.
