Frog Hop - another indie game released (in VCS Store)

The game is not exclusive to the new VCS, but it's an interesting retro-inspired addition to the store.
I did not find any release announcement from Atari.

This is the launch video for the PC version, and although the VCS version may be evolved, it's unlikely.

I bought this game for my 10 year old because she wanted a game and I said "Ok, as long as it's under $10".  She chose this one and she is really glad she did.  So am I frankly, it's really fun.  I have been playing it some recently too and find the controls to be nice and tight.  It plays great and is a very fun platformer.  I am also a fan of the retro inspired artwork in this game.  It looks like "16 bit era" graphics.  Anyway, I would definitely recommend this to anybody looking for a 2D side scrolling platformer.  There are some unique game play elements that make it lots of fun!

This game looks like fun and the sprites are cute.  A nice nod to 8-bit gaming.  An original platformer is just what I wanted from my Atari VCS game library

I finally beat that *%^+*^ cat in Frog Hop. That was definitely a fun little game and well worth the money. I think I will check out Ato at some point as well.
