Gunstar
Where can I find/download a patched OS for BT?
Gunstar
Never mind, I found what I need...I think...I have to go through all the files in the .zip, but I'm guessing a patched OS in there.
TheMontezuma
Just in case someone else is looking for the ROMs in the future. You can find the original OS rom here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/atari800/files/ROM/Original XL ROM/xf25.zip/download And you can use customize it to work with SIO2BT using a patcher: SIO2BT Patcher release: https://github.com/TheMontezuma/SIO2BT_OS_Patcher/releases SIO2BT Patcher Description: https://github.com/TheMontezuma/SIO2BT_OS_Patcher If you are not sure what the parameters are for, use default values ? Gunstar
@TheMontezumaI don't need to load a patched OS up in my Incognito firmware still, do I? The BT will work on my Incognito 800 just by activating the HSIO+BT option in the BIOS menu, right? Or do I still need the patch?

In short: you don't need the patch (the only exception, you would still need one is the 800 mode, since PBI is not available in this mode). One more remark: HSIO+BT is a mode, where Incognito code will try to load with 57600 baudrate and if this does not work, it goes down to 19200 SIO2BT mode is only for 19200 The original SIO2BT modules could be configured for 19200 (default) or for 57600. Fujinet in SIO2BT mode (after long press 'A') support 19200, however if you short press 'A' button in this mode, it will toggle between 19200 and 57600. The baudrate is not stored persistently, which means, after a long press, it always starts with 19200. 1

I recently added a configuration option (saved to fnconfig.ini) for bluetooth mode enabled at boot. I might be able to add a persistent option for baud rate or remember last used baud rate if it would be useful.

It will be in the next firmware release
