TMS99105 cross assembler options.

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

What options are there for a TMS99105 PC cross assembler.

I've looked at XDT99 but that seems to be aimed at the TI99

I found TASM (not the Borland TASM) but that's command line only and my attempts to convert it to Visual C++ were soon abandoned.

Really looking for something windows based, even better if it has some emulation and / or a disassembler as well.

But ideally I'd like to be able to customise it to match my homebrew hardware.

I've been writing a TMS99xx disassembler in Visual Basic but i'd rather be working on the TMS99105 system rather than playing with Visual Basic.

Many thanks,

Jim

I'm interested too. I use xdt99 a lot for TI-99/4A but also the common subset for my TMS99105 EPROM.

I think the best bet is to extend xdt99 for the new instructions.

As this question came up on another venue recently, I meant to post this link earlier but somehow got distracted, so you've probably already run across Dave Pitts' modified gcc-3.4.6 than compiles to a TI 990 or TMS9900 target: https://www.cozx.com/dpitts/tigccinst.html You'll also find there his 990/9900 cross-assembler, linker, and libc, and I believe you'll find they apply to the 99105 as well as the 99110A and /12.
