Troubleshooting a Apple II Plus

I am trying to troubleshoot my water damaged Apple II Plus. If you leave it unplugged, it won't turn on for a very long time. This is the major problem.

When It does turn on, it shows some color blocks, sometimes it shows a pure white screen. I want to make sure that the power supply is working, because of the not turning on after being unplugged problem. 918332074_ConditiononArrival.thumb.jpg.4f938be53720a512bf16e6fd70e77c8b.jpgIMG_0418.thumb.jpg.c2420b4aef313f43353e3cb49d236d28.jpgIMG_0419.thumb.jpg.6cea4c28d215141ccdd3d7208a929484.jpgIMG_0421.thumb.jpg.a16b42a1f222e22399b0d2ee347db668.jpgIMG_1696.thumb.jpg.a3e5414d64022a81359c9e2e9cc33863.jpgIMG_1694.thumb.jpg.c61a9dc3b8a62bd366291d094a4a2777.jpg

You've got a power supply issue, no doubt.

The suspect is most likely the 220 uF capacitor beside Q1 in your power supply.

The small one that's all by itself.

Usually when the power supply takes a very long time to turn on it is that cap.

While you're in there replace the RIFA noise suppression capacitor near the input.

That should fix the problem, but do test the four voltages before reconnecting your power supply to the computer.
