I watched the unveiling of Movie Cart ™ on Zeropage Homebrew. But was thinking it would be cool if PlusCart somehow had something like this implemented but folks could host the movie on their PlusStore account or something. Not sure if the cart could handle a stream of data but thought it was a cool project.

The PlusCart is busy servicing the '2600 address/data bus. It is in my long-term plans to rewrite at least one of the bankswitch schemes to use interrupt-driven servicing of the bus, instead of the current polling. This would free up the ARM, which could then stream data. My plan is to stream from SD card initially, as that would make it completely stand-alone. But also a possibility - as you suggest - streaming from your PlusStore account. That's my long-term goal. Then I'd like to have a go at a movie engine, too.
